All single, high-school graduates at the age of 18-27, who are of Vietnamese origin, are eligible for the beauty contest.
Those who won other beauty titles last year and this year will be considered to enter the final round if they meet the above-mentioned requirements.
The winner of Miss World Vietnam 2010 will receive gifts worth US$26,500, the highest among beauty contests in Vietnam so far and may be chosen to present Vietnam to compete in the grand slam beauty pageant this year.
The contest is designed to create a link among Vietnamese nationals, regardless of their culture, religion and geography distance, helping to strengthen the bloc of national unity.
It is also part of events celebrating the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
The organisers said they will start receiving registration forms as of April 25.
